Does TrackerPro support ALTA best practices?
TrackerPro is designed with ALTA’s best practices in mind and includes the tools and the automation needed. Built in checks and balances and work flow procedures support and administer compliance. For example, TrackerPro provides functionality such as title production delivery, reporting and premium remittance, escrow controls, three and even four-way reconciliations, customer complaint procedures, and real estate settlement procedures and policies.
Does the application support a paperless office environment?
Absolutely! TrackerPro has an electronic filing cabinet system which will keep all related documents logically sequenced together based on your file number. Anything in your filing cabinet can then be emailed or faxed directly from TrackerPro. Please note that faxing from TrackerPro requires an e-faxing system.
Does TrackerPro do three-way reconciliations?
Yes. TrackerPro tightly controls the flow of funds through the banking system. Three-way reconciliation reports can be done for all controlled liabilities, not just your Escrow Accounts. Controlled Liabilities include Escrow, Recording, Remittance, Commissions, Settlement, and Sales Tax.
Does TrackerPro handle ‘Not To Exceed’ checks?
Yes. TrackerPro will track all recording funds for an application whether paid by the exact amount or by a ‘Not To Exceed check’. Adjustments for the ‘Not To Exceed’ checks are simple. At the time you reconcile your bank statement, simply change the amount in the check reconciliation form and the program will handle all the necessary recording adjustments for you. The program will also track all the excess recording funds and display them in an easy to use adjustment form.
Do I still need to use QuickBooks, Peachtree or any other accounting system if I use TrackerPro?
No. TrackerPro can handle all of your accounting needs such as accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations and 1099’s. You will also be able to run reports such as balance sheet, trial balance and an income statement.
Can we incorporate other custom forms that our company has developed into the TrackerPro application?
As long as your form is created in MS Word, we can integrate it into TrackerPro and also automatically populate data from TrackerPro.
Some documents require signatures. Will it be necessary to print them, sign them, and scan them back in?
No. TrackerPro can automatically add your own personalized signatures to any documents stored in TrackerPro.
Can we use our company logo on our documents in TrackerPro?
Yes. A custom letterhead or logo can easily be added to any form in TrackerPro.
Do I still need to keep a manual closing schedule?
No. TrackerPro will keep a shared calendar that everyone can access.
Will TrackerPro automatically calculate the Transfer and Mortgage Taxes?
Yes. For NY and NJ applications, TrackerPro will automatically calculate Transfer and Mortgage Taxes. For all other states, you can manually enter these numbers and TrackerPro will incorporate them. Automatic calculations will be available in other states in the near future.
Will TrackerPro automatically calculate the Policy Premiums?
Yes. This functions the same way as the Transfer and Mortgage Taxes. Currently automatic calculations are only supported in NY and NJ, and can be manually entered for other states. Automatic calculations will be available in other states in the near future.
How can I get documents that I receive from vendors into TrackerPro?
If you use one of our Preferred Vendors, all documents will be automatically populated into the TrackerPro filing cabinet. Anything received electronically can also be easily copied into TrackerPro. Hard copies can be scanned and copied into TrackerPro as well.
Can I incorporate documents from vendors into TrackerPro?
Yes. We can incorporate MS Word documents 97-2003 and PDF documents into the Title Report.
Does TrackerPro integrate with other vendors?
Yes. TrackerPro has established integration points with a variety of vendors such as RedVision, Express Research, Hudson Search, Citibank and First American to name a few. Each of these Preferred Vendors enable you to save time and increase productivity by automating processes and eliminating the need to re-key and re-validate information already stored in TrackerPro. Our developers are constantly expanding the number of Preferred Vendors supported.
Do we have to use a TrackerPro Preferred Vendor to order searches?
No. You can use any vendor you choose. However, you will lose some of the automation benefits that a TrackerPro Preferred Vendor provides.

Is the Title Report in TrackerPro customizable?
Yes. TrackerPro uses a full version of MS Word as its title report editor. Clients can customize the look and feel of their title report by changing fonts, formatting paragraphs, adding graphics, etc. Additional title report sections may also be added, such as a common phone number sheet or an advertising page. Your title report will not look like every other TrackerPro Title Report out there. We can also add your company logo to reports, form letters, invoices, etc.
Is TrackerPro an Internet based system?
No. It is client – server. The program is run from each user workstation and the database is maintained on your server. For offices with multiple locations, we can set up a VPN (Virtual Private Network) or we also offer Cloud technology where we will host your database. Please contact us for further information.
What are the system requirements?
TrackerPro is built on the MS Office® System. A copy of MS Word® 1997 or better is required. We also recommend, however, that each user have a copy of MS Outlook and MS Excel since the program will integrate with these programs as well. Most documents will be produced in PDF format, so users must have a copy of Adobe Acrobat® Reader 6.0 or higher. We recommend that at least one user have a copy of Adobe Acrobat Standard for the extraction of premises descriptions, etc. The operating system must be Windows® XP, Service Pack 3 or higher. How long does it take to install TrackerPro?
Once we have your completed setup form and requirements, along with access to your system, TrackerPro can be installed (in even the largest offices) in approximately one day.
How long will it take us between installing TrackerPro and entering our first order?
Our trainers will guide you through all steps to enter an application as well as covering the more in depth functions of the program. For most companies, it will take about 5 business days to be fully functional with the TrackerPro application.
How many users can we have on TrackerPro at once?
There is no practical limit on how many users can be using the program at once.
Do we need dedicated staff in our office to maintain TrackerPro?
No. After the initial set-up and training, all maintenance and updates for the program will be done remotely by our support staff.
What training is included with the TrackerPro system?
Each installation includes five comprehensive training sessions. They are: (1) Applications and Tracking; (2) Title Reports and Follow-up Systems; (3) Closing, Escrow and Recording Systems; (4) Post Closing, Remittance, Commission, Sales Tax and Settlement Systems; and (5) General Ledger, Payroll, Management Reporting and Accounts Payable Systems.
What about Security?
TrackerPro has a sophisticated security system. Each user will be given his/her own username and password. Your administrators will have the ability to modify each users access settings for virtually every area of the program to Full Access, Read-Only Access or No-Access. The liability systems (Escrow, Recording, etc.) are all self-contained. For example, the user processing escrow payments can write checks, but does not have access to account balances or any other bank accounts in the system.

Where is the TrackerPro tech support team located?
Our primary support team is located at our headquarters in Melville, NY alongside our programmers and office staff. We also have a satellite office with support staff in Pearl River, NY.
How often are TrackerPro updates made?
Our programming staff is constantly working on enhancing our software by adding new features to improve functionality as well as the user experience. Incremental updates are released on almost a weekly basis, and more significant updates are made at least once a month. The updates are made automatically and are transparent to your users eliminating downtime.
How will we find out about new features in TrackerPro?
Whenever new features are added to the software, a pop-up will appear when you log in and list all of the additions and enhancements.
Can I request new enhancements to TrackerPro?
